Abstract:

Objective To explore the effectiveness and value of vacuum sealing drainage combined with micro⁃dynamic vacuum pack dressing in accelerating healing of the wounds in grade Ⅱ~Ⅳ diabetic foot. Methods 60 patients were divided into two groups. The control group received conventional treatment ,vacuum sealing drainage, ordinary dressing change, and dressing coverage;while the study group received conventional treatment vacuum sealing drainage, and micro⁃dynamic vacuum pack dressing. The treatment situation including target ulcer complete healing rate, ulcer area reduction rate, ulcer complete healing time, number of dressing changes, and ulcer recurrence rate during the last one month follow⁃up,and adverse events such as bleeding, pain, redness and swelling were observed. Results The healing rate was greater in the study group(100%)than in the control group (93.3%);the wound reduction rate was greater(P < 0.05),the healing time was shorter, the number of dressing changes was smaller, and the one⁃month recurrence rate were lower in the study group(P < 0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group(16.7%)was lower than that in the control group(46.7%)(P < 0.05). Conclusions Vacuum sealing drainage combined with micro ⁃dynamic vacuum pack dressing has a significant effect in the treatment of Ⅱ~Ⅳ diabetic foot wounds and has fewer adverse reactions. It may boost growth of granu⁃ lation tissue and epithelium and accelerate wound healing.
